Bulky Cap Pattern with Slide Show Instructions Yarn: two strands of bulky alpaca yarn Gauge: 2.5 - 3 st. per inch Needles: 16inch circular size 10 1/2 & 8 inch circular size 10 optional CAST ON 50 stitches and knit with two strands of yarn Row 1 knit - Don't let the yarn twist when joining the first round - Row 2 -6 Knit 1, Purl 1 Row 7 Purl Row 8 Knit and continue knitting until a total of 7-8 inches Put the cap on, when it's about 3 inches from the top of your head then decrease
Top Decrease Rows: *Change to 8 inch needles when needed Knit 6 st, knit 2 together, Knit 1 Row Knit 5 st, knit 2 together, Knit 1 Row Knit 4 st, knit 2 together, Knit 1 Row Knit 3 st, knit 2 together, Knit 1 Row Continue decrease rows until 15 - 18 stitches remain Break off an 8 inch tail and thread a darning needle Pick up the stitches off the knitting needle and pull tight Push the darning needle through to the inside of cap, secure the top stitches, weave in all ends Hand Wash or use a hand knit cycle for the washer Use low suds, Lay flat to dry You can use any bulky yarn for this pattern - Happy Knitting!

Baby Cap Pattern - With Flowers
Cast On 48-50 Stitches, size 8-9 circular knitting needles (16 inches long or Addi Turbo needles 12 inches long) Knit in the round with Light Green yarn for 10 rows. Change to Natural color and knit 15 rows, Change to a variegated Lilac yarn and knit 4 rows, continue with the variegated yarn and decrease (knit 2 together) every 6 stitches. Knit 1 row. Decrease every 5th stitch. Knit 1 row. Decrease every 4th stitch. Knit 1 row. Continue with the decreases until 15 stitches remain - break off the yarn - leave an 8 inch tail. Thread the tail with a darning needle and pull tight. Push needle into wrong side and sew back and forth - weaving in the top stitches and any decreases that have left a hole. Embroider flowers around the cap. Happy knitting :)

Dropped Garter Stitch Scarf Easy to Knit ... Knit every row
*This pattern can be used with any size yarn and needles ... cast on & off with needles 2 sizes larger.
Size 10 & Size 8 Circular needles 24 inches or longer. Cast on 95 - 100 stitches with larger needles. Change to smaller needles. Row 1 Knit, Row 2 Knit Row 3 Pattern 1 : wrap yarn around each stitch - twice. Row 4 Pattern 2: knit the first stitch of each stitch - drop the second ... on each stitch as you knit down the row. Row 5 Knit. Row 6 Knit. When you have the width you want (6 - 8 inches for a scarf) cast off with larger needles. Crochet around edge 3 times. Weave in ends. Make a quick lap blanket or shawl with this pattern - Looks great with different colors & fibers :)
